I'm trying to figure out what's the best lockers, I'm looking for pros and cons for each.

Anyone have likes or dislikes of either, pros or cons, do's or don'ts

I figured I would get some good advice from ya'll.

Thanks for your time and impute

I've had both and both have done well. Air locker you obviously need an air supply. E-locker seems to disengage more quickly.

My 2 pesos.

What kind of axles are you using?  I'm still using the factory air lockers they still work well for me.  They engage and disengage quickly but I can only use them in low range.  Still not a limiting factor to me. I can't talk to e-locker I've never used them. But I hear only good things about them. That's my thoughts silly

We have Eaton electric lockers that work well. Never had any experience with air, but so long as you keep the air line protected from damage, both would serve you well.

E lockers used to be weaker than ARBs but not any more.  I have had a seal leak on one of my lockers that was a pricy/time consuming fix.  I've also pinched airlines causing them to leak and had my seals leaked when the temps got super low like on snow runs. But once everything works the system is smooth.

I don't use my ARB air supply to air up my tires but having on board air is a nice plus.  I do have on board air..

Thanks everyone one I'm planningon picking up some G2 core 44 axle assemblies in the beginning of next year.

Then I won't be limited out of any runs. They just come in your choice of gears and lockers so I figured I would get some opinions from ya'll on the lockers

After I had my ARB air lockers installed on my TJ I broke the stock dana 30 front outer axel shaft on my first run with lockers. I bought G2's and haven't had any problems since then.

Ya im going to get the whole core 44 axle assembly front and rear.

The money I would spend on lockers, gears and chromoly shafts for these stock 30 and 35 for not too much more I get the full 44 ready to bolt in

Ok thanks for the input guys. After reading the posts and doing some other reading I've decided to go with E-lockers.
