I can build you the track bar and steering box brace. All you need to do is buy the parts and contibute to the mig wire fund 😀

I just need a bung and a hiem joint. Then we can cut off the rubber bushing and add the hiem. That will give me an RE joint on one end and a hiem on the other.

Sounds like a good price. Do you know how you're going to attach it to your bumper?

I'm going to use my existing shackle brackets. I haven't checked it out yet, but I may have to get a fab guy to change the connection to fit it.

I will probably use my 4" drop reciever hitch and I'll flip it upsidedown (4" raised hitch) to level everything out.

I have a 10 inch receiver that when flipped is almost level with my front bumper when using my Tahoe as a tow vehicle. Most trucks have a tow point higher up than the Tahoe, so this might work well for you. You are more than welcome to borrow the receiver if you want.

John, come take a look at how my tow bar connects to my Jeep. It should be pretty easy to make a similar connection to your shackle brackets.
I dug all my tow stuff out yesterday to get it all polished up for the Hammers trip. 8)

That is what I use on the back of the motorhome. It lines everything up about perfect.

so you've done nothing towards making your rig more capable, but if it still rolls, you'll be able to tow it home...

What would you suggest I do to make it more capable???
I'm concentrating on making it more durable.

Steering box brace is on the list already.
The rear track bar bracket is already reinforced.
The only thing I can think of to make it more capable is to stretch it to 100 inches. However, I can't afford to do that.
The other thing I'd like to do is move my lower control arm brackets up higher on the axle. But, that'll wait for the day I stretch it.

You could add one of these to the hood. I'm not sure it would work, but it's worth a shot.
