So I have some fairly large offset beadlocks. This means they stick out further than other wheels. I bought them for some obvious advantages like protecting my manual hubs, protecting my valve stems from rocks, widening my track to allow better stability with my lift, and offering greater steering before contacting my frame.
Here is something I didn't know but did learn. With the wider offset on my raceline beadlocks, the gap between the inside of the beadlock threads and the rim spokes is about 1". This doesn't seem like much, but when you have a broken beadlock bolt, it makes a big difference. It used to take a bunch of time to easy out any broken ring bolts. But with these wheels, you just put a drillbit in to your drill and push the bit against the broken off bolt. It spins the bolt right through the face and out the back. literally 10 seconds per bolt! Plus no damage to any threads so the new bolt just threads right in.
Super cool!

Broken 3 bolts. All my bolts are countersunk below the ring as well. I don't have any pictures. Two bolts were snapped off, so I re-torqued all all my bolts. I found another one broken when re-torquing all the rest. My Walker Evans beadlocks had the bolt head exposed on the lock rings, but I never broke any of those bolts, so I kind of expected all beadlocks to use similar quality bolts...
