I'm just a primative Toyota guy so I don't know these things. Anyone know what kind of axle this is? 😀

Are you telling us that you are going to put a real axle under your Toyota 😀

In a while. I can't afford to right now and in the short term and it's still attached to my new (old) wood/work/tow rig. We got a smoking deal on this truck. It was owned by a mechanic so it runs like a top. Smog numbers are almost non existant. It has the 460 so it has power for days. They handed us a folder that had receipts, the orignial window sticker listing the options, and the original sales brochure. Of course with 4-5 dollar gas I can't really afford to turn it on. 😀

Yeah, but they're the wrong size. They're only 16". I was hoping I could get a set of 40" MTRs on them. Oh well. 🙁

The brochure says the truck is rated to pull over 12k pounds. 😯 In CA you just have to have the license for it. 🙁

High pinion...check. King pin...check. It's an 89. My problem now is that I like driving the truck. How am I going to take it apart at some point? I haven't driven a truck this size on a regular basis since high school. I could get used to it. 😀
