Just saw an article about the Maxxis Razr Mt and they have a 40k warranty. http://www.maxxis.com/news/aut.....-available

The warranty seems odd especially since the sizes of this tire only range from 35" to 40".  Looks like there are now 2 40" tires with warranties out there.  Who doesn't need 40s on their daily driver?

My 40s have both a treadwear and road hazard warranty.

Is the road hazard part from Pro-comp or from the shop that installed? Ive heard shops charging 10% more for hazard protection down to 50% tread or something but not included with the tires by the manufacturer.

4 wheelparts, so it's chain specific.  I've used it on two tires.  The cost was a little over 100 and I saved more than 800 in tire costs.  The warranty is supposed to be 3 years, and no treadwear so long as it's still legal.  I had to buy new warranties for my two tires, each was about 30 bucks.

The second tire was the procomp MT2 that Brad runs.

40k warranty. Sounds good if you can get it.
