So, random thought. I'm still in the dreaming building phase for my jeep. I'm trying to decide where I want to go with my build. How do we decide where are dreams meet our budget? Or do we just build our rigs to what our budgets allow? Ultimately my budget could be to the sky, but that is a long waiting perio to save up and a lot of missed wheeling opportunities.

What to do...what to do?

Um...what?

Ive built 4 jeeps via the step method. Get some money, put mods on. Get more money, upgrade the previous mods. Very expensive way to go over time but you can wheel more and more as you go along. This jeep i did one focused upgrade vision. It probably saved a bunch of money but i still had a few replacements and regrets i learned from.

Nice new rig Greg. You have the basics covered already. Rubicon! A little lift and you will go far. I like the RE lifts.

To answer the question you must know your future you. :) I would argue whatever you do you will later believe you should have done something different. The reason for this is that no build will accomplish every possible goal. Additionally, while you may believe you know yourself now, your opinions and the equipment options will change as you change and time goes on. What you would build today may be very different than what you would build two years from now. Don't let perfect get in the way of great. There is no done in Jeep. Focus more on having fun and make the best decision with the information provided.
