I'm starting to upgrade the Scrambler. I'm getting ready to lower the transfer case from a 2.62 to a 4:1. I was thinking Lomax gears. It seems that all the manufacturers are about $600. What can you guys recommend and who should I use to install them. The cheapest install price was $450. Thanks Jim D.

OfflineI'm not sure of the location you'd prefer to do the work. Hangtown extreme is an option in placerville. I think river city differential may also do the work at a reasonable price. Another option would be to call big 0 in EDH (ask for Chris) and see if he'd do it. Good luck! T-case gears aren't too hard of an install if you want to tackle it yourself as well. I've only done two, but both were TJ cases.
