Kevin,
Found a HP D70, full float for about 5K, but you need an ARB, RnP and install kit. it has 5x5.5 bolt pattern and is 66" wide. I'm guessing its about 6500 total. Includes tone rings and bolts in to a JK...

Hmm, let me think about that one. My original plan was to do the front first to replace the D30.

Do you know what it came out of originally?

Thanks for the heads up.

New. Custom built. Not a junkyard axle.

I don't see tone rings allowing it to run correctly in a JK. We're they optional? Or are they available?

The JK has an ABS system that checks wheel spin by counting teeth on a tone ring. No ring, no signal, ABS goes crazy and your dash looks like a christmas tree.

Thanks Jeff!
My front is 5.13 so I'd need to match it...

I would never run a high pinion rear. It will break on you. Just ask Huck.

I have a rear HP60 and have never had any problems with it. However I don't run 375 hp/400 ft/lbs torque.

I am looking to be proactive in knocking out upgrades before the motor swap. The rear axle is my last item unless I need to do an auto conversion as well. But I want something that solves the problem, and not something that was the cheapest solution. I've already got an axle back there, so "do nothing" is a solution as well.
