Tires on the 2wd Lincoln pickup next to me on the highway were louder than the Duratrac's. Getting into the Jeep is easier too. The Jeep still looks good but does look much more mild than it did. That's ok though as that was the goal.

Great!

Here's a teaser, the rest didn't turn out. The neighbor interrupted me and my lunch was burning in the oven. I'll try to get some more later this afternoon.

I think it looks really good! The stance and tire size to wheel well size all look great!

Nice to see you have rim protectors on those tires. Very cool!

After all that, still looks like a VERY capable rig.

Thanks, that's what I was trying to achieve. A mild-mannered daily driver, yet reasonably capable rig.

Looks good. Keep me posted on the Duratracs. I'm looking at a late September or early October time frame for my new tires. 8)

Any update on the Duratracs? Now that the lift is on it's time for me to get serious about tires!

I've put about 400 miles on them and am still happy with them. I haven't had a chance for any trail runs so I can't comment on that.

This past weekend we took the Jeep to Lake Tahoe. Teddi commented that it was much more comfortable to ride in than it had been. Part of it is the new springs but the Duratracs sure ride smooth and quiet. My gas mileage is up quite a bit too. Previously I was getting about 11.5 mpg. For this Tahoe trip we got 14.4 mpg. (Those numbers are corrected for odometer error.)

The 35's finally found their new home. They'll be going on a yellow 2000 TJ. Thank you Rayzor. Post pictures when you get them installed. beer
