I just heard from Nathan. They made it back in one piece.
Just letting you know we made it out safe and in one piece. The trip was awesome. Super cool gorges in the bottom of that river. You guys were the key to us getting in there. Thanks again. I'll send you a trip report when we put our pictures and video together.
How was the rest of your drive out through Bowman lake?

bahh, my little saw would have taken care of that twig :p
Hey Nathan....ever check out the V gorge section of Dinkey Cr out of the Shaver Lk area? ...east of Fresno, CA check the section from Ross Crossing on down 😉 Another wacky place might be the Merced River from the hwy 140 entrance to Yosemite down to El Portal...if any of it is even runnable :p
those vids are crazy!!

Much easier to drive over it. 😀 I was out there last weekend and it had been taken care of. Oddly enough, they only cut barely enough to fit a truck through.
actually, its more fun to cut them so there is just enough room to have to ramp at least one end of the tree 😀

Good point! Of course that tree was big enough that it would roll most Jeeps if they had to put a tire on it. They already got high centered on it. It's not really fair to make the road so tough that you have to drive a Toyota to safely get through! 😀

I have to take the chance when I can. I'm way outnumbered by you Jeep drivers. 😀
What is the easiest trick to teach a Jeep 😉
