OfflineNot really a fan of crowdfunding but this one seems legit enough I bought a couple.

Not a permanent fix but plenty to get to pavement and way easier than un-seating the bead on the trail. This is such a simple solution Im surprised it isn't part of a standard trail repair kit. Does something like this already exist and I just not know about it?

OfflinePretty snazzy - being someone who has lost multiple tires from simple valve stems (possibly part of the reason why most our club runs don't allow metal valve stems : \) I think this may be worth something as opposed to a 30 min vehicle up, tire off, break the bead, reset the bead repair. I'll probably order up a 2 pack as well.
I do wonder if the rubber will semi rest and possibly be reusable a few times if not left on for days

thats a cool product Kris. I wonder how much longer before they're available. i've never spent money on a start up before, still a weird concept to me
This is one of the more legit crowd funding's I have seen. The design make sense, they seem to have a working prototype, and if it doesn't raise the target goal you get a refund. So unless the kid blows the investment money on himself (which happens occasionally with these types of crowdfunding campaigns) it is a pretty safe bet you will have the product by the end of the year. If the product works then expect to see them on shelves locally in a year or so.

thanks Kris, seems like its worth giving it a shot. pretty low investment risk for a cool product. I think I might start a crowdfunding campaign. I have this great dessert recipe i'm working on inspired by Greg "fun stuff" Bakken. i'm calling it "the bread is in the pudding" pudding. ![]()
