Since I sold the 85 4runner I'm looking to sell my 2000 dodge for something with better mileage, anything is better than 13 MPG!
also want 4 doors and somewhat trail worthy. Oh yeah and I don't want to spend over 5k.
I'm thinking about newer 4 runner, or maybe a Jeep "Gasp" I know.. Cherokee 4 door. Any input guys? Tips suggestions.
Appreciated..Thanks

You might want to stick with the cherokee
By newer I mean 3rd gen. So still about 2000 model or older...
Cherokees look like they are selling really cheap. Are they cheap to build too. I don't want to go nuts, but would like to hit the trails still.
Hows the gas mileage on one of those straight 6's?

Cherokees arnt ugly, the new crap jeep is making in the SUV market is ugly.... plus its a stright axle....much better for wheeling, and the stright 6 will go for ever... :puke:
