Looks like today is the day:

ENF:

TNF:
http://yubanet.com/regional/Fire-Restri ... Forest.php

As of right now, I can't find the TNF announcement on their website. Maybe they were scooped by the news folks. 😯

- Internal combustion engines including OHVs can only be operated on roads or trails except for the Prosser Pit Off-Highway Vehicle Area.

Does this mean Fordyce is ok?

That's what it said last year, so I believe it means that Fordyce is closed 🙁 But, I'm not the go-to guy for land use wink

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Maybe Rob can swing in there on his way to work and see if the signs are posted.

If there isn't specific wording saying to stay off trails like last year and there are no signs posted, we may be okay.

That's what I was thinking. Last year I thought they closed the trails too, but I can't remember for sure. It does say that they may get more restrictive as time goes on though. 🙁
