OfflineThe kit we put together was basically the smittybuilt first aid bag filled with an off the shelf first aid kit + some stuff Jessica puts in specifically. I ran the same one but now I bought a feild medic bag that holds more and Jessica has outfitted it more like her work kit.
Jessica took a wilderness first responder course and that plus her EMT training is why she tweaks the kits to put in specific stuff (like a bandanna). I will post a pic of the list of what we stock in that smaller kit. Biggest thing is to never put anything in the first aid kit that you don't know how to use, for example quick-clot or traction when you have only taken a basic first aid course.

OfflineThat would be awesome Kris!!
Just curious why you recommend not putting something in that you don't know how to use? My initial feelings would be if I don't know how to use it, someone else may know how. Obviously if it is something that could do more damage then good, I wouldn't want to use it.
Um...what?

Best answer I can give is that it is formal advice given from people smarter than I.
