I would have made you proud. I went wheeling with a bunch of Toyota's. In fact I was only 1 of 3 jeeps in a crowd of 23 other Toyota trucks and 4Runners..We went snow wheeling up Hwy 80 behind Lake Valley reservoir. between 5 and 8 feet of snow up at the top where we were. The new Kevlar MTR's do as well if not better than the old design!! 40 inch tires probably help a little too!!!!

Not GV people, he is the only one from your area. He is a Nevada Co. Fire Fighter. WE hit the trail at 9 a.m....The road we were on is all dirt. I know the area very well since it is the area I do most of my deer hunting. I never knew it was one of the few roads that is open for winter wheeling.

The SLR is sometimes just to bog to take on trips and set up for quick shots. For point and shoot, I really like the Powershot cameras. They take great quality and have the ability to take good rapid succession shots.
