Brief History:
After several emails and phone calls with no response, I called the US Forest Service main line and spoke with the District Ranger Duane Nelson, who let me know that Ranger Hancock had retired in the spring and that my new contact was Ranger Cathy Bounds.

I made several calls to Cathy and an introductory email explaining who we were and our involvement with the Forest Service. I then sent her a PowerPoint slide show of our maintenance run. After no response from her, I left her another voicemail last Thursday asking if she had received my email so I could at least confirm the email address was working.

Update 8/17/10:
Today I received a call from Ranger Marc Young, who works for Cathy. He said she received my email but her server took the attachment off; she asked if I could forward the slideshow to him. He would in turn print it for her or let her see it on his computer.

I just sent it off and received a note back from him thanking me and confirming that he was able to open the attachment. Hopefully we’re finally making some forward progress.
