I haven't been very happy with the handling of my Jeep since the last round of upgrades. So this weekend I downsized to RE 3.5" springs from 4.5", keeping the short arms.
Last fall I had ordered a JeepMedic long arm engine skid plate with the idea I'd be going to a long arm lift soon since they were having a going out of business sale. With the 3.5" lift the long arm kit really isn't necessary, so I adapted the long arm skid to fit my short arm lift replacing the Skid Row engine skid. The Skid Row skid worked fine, but this way I'm ready to go long-arm in the future if my needs change.
With the 3.5" springs my RE1610 trackbar was too long and my axle was offset. I realized the treaded part of the trackbar was bottoming out in the joint and was able to trim off some of the threads to get it adjusted short enough.
I replaced the Currie Anti-Rock swaybar with an Off Road Only dual rate swaybar.
A while back I put in a polyurethane t-case mount because I thought my factory mount was going bad. With the auto trans, this caused a lot of vibration when stopped and the transmission in gear. I swapped the factory mount back in to stop the vibrations.
I replaced my Cobra 75 CB with a Uniden 510 XL Pro during the week last week.
At this point, my Jeep is basically set up with a 3.5" short arm lift, 1.25" body lift, 35" tires, and belly up skid plate. It rides nice on the road and doesn't lift the left front tire as much as before. I need to take it somewhere to see how it works offroad though.
Edit) AND! Teddi likes the reduced elevation and doesn't complain so much about getting in and out.

I haven't been getting good clear reception lately. The audio has seemed garbled and hard to understand. On our recent Utah trip I could hardly hear anything without having to ask for a repeat broadcast. I also kept accidently changing the squelch while using the "mic" and missed conversations.
After I bolted the new radio in, I started uninstalling the Cobra 75. It turns out much of my problem may have just been loose antenna cable connections. All connections were loose, and the one on the back of the radio fell off when I went to unscrew it.
