We went to the truck and jeep show in San Mateo yesterday. It was a good show, the good news is I ordered my lift kit, a Currie 4" lift. I can't wait for it to come in clap

If you go body lift you can get a 1" motor mount lift and add a tummy tuck skid plate. Did that on my old YJ. :)

Like Kevin, I ran a 1" body lift combined with a 1" motor mount lift on my TJ. It made the rear drive line angles much better and got rid of all the vibrations caused by the lift.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Jack up the axle on the side you are concerned with to where the tire is off the ground. Then shake tire and see if it moves or clanks.

Um...what?

Left to right movement generally indicates hub/unit bearing /wheel bearing, up and down movement generally indicates ball joints

Times getting close to planning a work party....https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/icon_weld.gif

I'd like to have the honor of working on a jeep and get to see what "real" 4 wheel parts look like........ razz

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.
