Kris pointed out that Pep Boys is currently having a promotion where you buy 3 tires and get 1 free for several solid brands, like General Grabbers. For just a few dollars more, they also offer that deal on Mickey Thompson Deegan 38s.

I visited the Pep Boys in Rancho Cordova. Unfortunately I had a very hard time finding anyone who could understand what I was asking for or how to process the sale. For example, the guy at the tire counter sent me back to the parts counter. The parts counter guy tried to advise me to order these tires online, have them shipped to Pep Boys, then call the manager at Pep Boys to make sure that she understood what was going on. It was all very strange.

Fortunately, the guys at America's Tire in Folsom agreed to match the entire deal. This is really a pretty screaming deal. In case anyone out there is also looking for tires.
