OfflineYesterday I was trying to diagnose a brake-relate squeaking sound so I put the Jeep up on four jackstands so I could run it in gear and listen for the sound. While going from wheel to wheel looking for the source of the squeak I found the front passenger side tire sounded like it rocks inside it. It turned out the axleshaft ujoint had gone bad and was shifting back and forth. Thanks to the alloy axle shafts and full circle clips holding the ujoint caps in place it's just a simple ujoint replacement. In the past with factory shafts and regular c-clips I've had the caps spit out and ruin the ears on the shafts.
