Nice! What's your plans for the JK?

Time for me too.

First, you have to decide what you want.

Eventually I'd like to get protection, a good suspension, D60s, and run 37s. It may take a few years and a lot of research before I decide how to get there, but that's part of the fun for me. mr-green

I will be going with...

Protection
Air Source
35" tires
Gears
and
Lockers

Pretty simple build, but enough for its intended purpose.

Not yet. My brother is going to test drive my FJ Cruiser next weekend and may buy it. Once that is sold then I can order the JKU. Going for the base model Sport, white, manual, half doors.

Got a smog waiver on the YJ but I'll still need to get it to pass smog before I can sell it. Then I'll use that money to start building the JKU. I've owned the YJ for nearly 20 years so I guess I'm long overdue for a new Jeep. mr-green

Whoa!! When did Kevin decide he was going to go with a JKU?

PM what you are thinking about price wise for the YJ. I might have a coworker that might be interested.

Um...what?

The power in the 2012 Jeep Wranglers is such a huge improvement over past years.

I noticed a difference between my 08 and my 00, so the 12's should have a super big improvement!

Slick and kudos. What was your previous wheel rig? Guess I missed that part.

This will not be my primary wheeling rig. this one is for daily driving, snow runs and some very mild wheeling.

IMy primary wheeling Jeep is sitting in the garage safe and warm:

Isn't it sad that Carl doesn't know you have a jeep. I think it's a sign you need to get out and wheel more. 😀

Um...what?

Hey, I used to have one of those "wheeling rigs" too! But now I'm down to one jeep...

Now that there is exactly what I need. That would make a "Jeep" guy out of me.

I love buying new cars. I've been contemplating selling my jeep for something new as well. I don't know if I'm ready yet though.

Um...what?

I've always been curious about new rig purchases these days...is there a tracking progress now? Like where in the assembly/build or whatever per day status? lol

More importantly, what will be the first mod? mr-green

Not Kevin, but...

Mods already done:
2.5 inch lift
33" tires
Mopar Slush Mats

Mods to come quickly:
Front Bumber
9,000 lb Winch
On Board Air
CB Radio

Mods over the next year:
Skid Plates
Gears and Lockers

Mods after the next year:
35 inch tires

That will make a darned fine Mall Crawler/Fishing Rig/Snow Wheeler beer
