I don't have any experience with the Geolanders but their tread pattern looks somewhat like the Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. A friend had the Baja Claws and really disliked them in the snow. He said he frequently had trouble slipping sideways.

Actually, he did have front and rear Detroit lockers. The guy I'm talking about was a guy I use to wheel with before joining the club.

Based on my experience with the 4Runner, I'd put a lot of snow trouble on the two lockers. I doubt he'd be happy with anything.

I did buy the new MTR Kevlars and I am loving them. I think they are awesome.
My brother had a set of 31s of the Geolander mts. He liked them but the tire ply was low like only 2 or 3 plys. I'd hate to tear a side wall. But i guess Geolander updated the tire since my brother had them. So check out the ply count.
I almost went with Copper Stt's. They are a great tire I think and fairly cheap. In folsom behind home depot is clarksville tire and auto, that guy is a dealer for cooper. Cooper is made by the same company that owns ProComp. So the tire have the same quality is what I hear. Clarksville wanted $275 per tire for 37x12.5x17s, which I think is cheap for 37's.
Um...what?
