always had open body vehicles and jeeps
from convertibles to broncos to jeeps 3 CJs a YJ and a TJ (just got rid of the 2 XJs)
well i cant touch a jeep like mine down here for under 12000 so im going to go pick it up
does any one have an idea of wat i need to do to import it besides take it to the border patrol at the airport
is there any safetys
does it have to be put back to stock

The best place to find the info you are looking for is at the California DMV. They probably will want an inspection, smog, and registration. I don't think you should have any major problems unless it's not street legal.
