My Jeep's with a specialist getting some elective surgery today. When it comes out from anesthesia it will be equipped with a new ARB locker in the rear end. Finally!

I already had all the buttons, they didn't all do anything though. The ARB compressor button is set up to run my ExtremeAir compressor, the front locker button did what it was suppose to, the rear locker button was just a placebo. No matter how many times I turned it off the Detroit locker never disengaged.

I'm hoping this will get rid of most if not all of my handling complaints.

Where are you getting the work done at? Did you have a rubi d44 rear? I'm asking cause I heard you have to change the gears to non thick gear set when going with an arb. Did you have to do this?

Um...what?

River City Differentials is doing the work. My rear D44 is a custom built axle rather than a Rubicon D44.

Hmm, I've got one other non-functional switch. Maybe I should make a up new label for it. 8)

The short test-drive home was inconclusive. I was still all over the road but I'm blaming that on the wind. I was driving east on 50 with a serious side wind from the passenger side. I did notice the tendency to lift the front left tire when making left turns under power has gone away and there is much less understeer while turning either direction.

When the wind dies down I'll take another drive and let you know how it is.

I used to have a "Warp Drive" switch in the old Nissan. I wish I had saved it. The 4Runner could really use a boost every now and then. lol

I'm not very good at waiting. 😀

There was no wind tonight so I took another test drive. What a difference! There's no more wandering on acceleration or deceleration and the driveline backlash inherent with the Detroit locker is gone.
