Here is my first cut at the rear air system I've been working on.

It mounts in place of the rear muffler and requires no drilling! Direct bolt in!

Test fit the system tonight and it worked. Now I need to disassemble everything and get the mount powder coated.

Then I'll get all the electrical set up and test it out.

Thanks Greg. Darn the apple products!

Skid is off to powder coating should be back on Thursday. I am now waiting for the remaining parts I ordered and then I can finish it off. With luck I'll only need to install this thing one more time!

Is this a kit or something you've put together?

Considering the pumps will be under your Jeep, is there any concern about keeping them clean and dry? Particularly the air intake and cooling fins.

I'm assuming the air intakes run up to the inside of the vehicle?

There are two rubber plugs above my system. I can either run the remote intakes in to the trunk well, or up the jack storage area. It is the installers choice. I will likely flush mount them in the back corner of my cargo area so they never need to be moved. With this design they can be submerged and run (though that's not recommended). The sytem's remote mounts are about 30" long, but I'll just use my normal air line and make them longer (or I can simply drill two holes straight up into my body and pull some hose through (this may be even cleaner, and much shorter)...
I'm not worried about dust accumulation. It's similar to an engine mount since the motors fan sucks all the dust in normally. Plus, mine are easy to spray off with a hose whenever I clean my rig.
