To tighten the wheel there is a center nut that is adjusted. The center of the steering wheel has the airbag built in. You need a 90 degree prybar to safely remove the center section without harming your plastic. There are three entry points at the back and a metal clip that holds it in place in each spot. There are only two plugs to disconnect the airbag. I would remove the ground at the battery and wait 15min to make sure the restraint system is not functioning before you proceed. I replaced all the airbags in my 07.
