Last update, if you have a JK, i guess every 7-8k miles, the dash will tell you that you need to change your oil. To reset this warning light or code, you have to turn your key to the on position without starting the motor, then press the gas pedal 3 times in 10 seconds. Then, you are all good!!
Mine just came on this morning! I always forget how to reset it. Thanks!

OfflineFor the EVO bumper I run on the White Jeep, I had to trim the crash bar. It does assist with the approach angle but depending on tire size that isn't much. If you are running 37s + the approach angle in awesome, no chance of hitting the e-disco swaybar. If you are worried, Synergy makes a "kit" (basically a long bolt) and you flip the edisco upside down. It doesn't effect function and raises it 3-4" out of harms way.

OfflineMan, what a sad build thread...6 months and nothings changed...I'm getting depressed. LOL!!
What do you all think of this suspension kit?

Thinking either ^ that or looking at something way cheaper to get things going. But I only want to buy once...
Um...what?

OfflineWell, Time for an update I guess. A lot has been happening in the plans of my build. Many of you know I host an offroad podcast called High Sierra 4x4 Podcast along with Jeff and Jason. We are doing a SEMA build this year to be show cased at SEMA in the Sierra LED Booth come this November.
A lot of great companies have stepped up and want to be a part which is awesome!! Sierra LED stepped up and offered a 50 dual Amber and White light bar for above the windshield. It's amazing and the dual coloring is awesome!! The amber is really a nice color when there is zero ambient light. There really is no other company running the dual color option all in one package.
So the light bar is on the jeep!!
We also had Switch-Pros step up and offer up there 8 switch programmable switch system which I can not say enough great things about it. It is small, compact, programmable and multi functioning. It will power all the electronic accessories for the SEMA build like the Sierra LED light bar.
I'll post some pictures here in a bit, but there is a lot more in the works as well as some still mystery. I can't wait to see it all come together.
Um...what?

I'm good for a chocolate cake...
congrats on all the goodies.
Also Greg, SEMA isn't opened to the public we noticed on the web. If a general public person wanted to go can they? Or does one (or two) have to be endorsed by a vendor?
L
It's not open to the public. It's an industry trade show. So, technically you need to be part of the industry to be there. Whether you are media, supplier, buyer, some type of a shop or something that they will approve then you can go. It's unfair. But, I don't make the rules.
Um...what?

OfflineI can't seem to load pictures at the moment, but some bumpers and sliders came in from VKS Fab out of Fresno. This is the same company that Kevin has for his sliders. The rear bumper is pretty cool in my book but a little extreme for most. It requires trimming the frame and tucks up very close to the rear of the jeep allowing an amazing departure angle for JKs. I'll work on the pictures more...
Um...what?
