This is crap. Apparently as of December 1, 2007, vehicles between the model year 1976 and 1995 will be required to pass an additional test at smog. I just had the 4runner smoged at my normal place. 29 for the test 8 bucks for the cert and $15 for an EVAP Test!!! !@#$%^&* i guess now i'm going to have to shop around for another shop who has a cheaper EVAP test or just continue to pay yet again another crappy fee for my vehicle who passes every year with flying colors. yes the 4runner actually tests way lower than avaerage. anyway, I hate it when that happens. I go in thinking im going to pay 37 for my smog and i end up paying 52!!!! UGH. 👿

Quit complaining. At least you passed. If you drove a Jeep you'd fail and have to pay for a retest. 😀

My jeep is in the shop now, having an emmissions problem worked on. 🙄
At least my Toyota passes smog without problems (and 115K miles)...

I am worried that my 4runner might have a problem come November for its smog, just from looking at the smog numbers when it was done for transfer of ownership.
My Expedition on the other hand with 200,000 passes with ease. The only way it could pass cleaner is if it wan't running.
