I need a power window motor for the rear window on the 4Runner. From the parts store in town, a new one is $300 plus shipping. 😯 A remanufactured one is $200 plus shipping. 😯 I found one on ebay from a reputable seller for about $50. I think I remember Brad talking about an online junk yard at one point. Anybody got a tip on where to buy used parts online?

I checked them, they said if I mail it in, they will rebuild it and send it back. I'm going to check a shop in town to see if they will do it. Maybe Boyle Future Tech in Auburn will.

I'll be going to PicknPull this week if you want me to look for you. What year is the 4Runner? Are you sure its the motor, sometimes its a broken wire near the tailgate hinge.

Richard, if you don't mind looking around to see if they even have a 1st generation 4runner it wouldn't hurt my feelings. My understanding is that all the 1st generation motors are the same in the rear door. I'm positive it's the motor. I checked all the wires with a test light and it was getting power so I pulled it and hooked it directly to the battery and still didn't get anything out of it.

OK, its the tail gate, right? They now have the inventory online....so I see an 85 near me.
