Yep...you read it right. The quad cab, white, 35" tire, stock+ lift, and macho sliders and bumper made it from Loon Lake to Little Sluice...unscathed.
It also came out a little less unscathed though. However, still within DD status. The last 1/8 mile through Gatekeeper section really keeps you (me) on my toes.
This was with our church group run (Bill mentioned on another thread).
For sure this would not have been possible without the knowledge and support gained from GHP as a whole, but also the hands on support from Jeff, Bill, and Greg on this trip. Additionally, my coworker Sean showed up surprisingly (w/o rig) to take my open seat for just into Ellis Creek. He also helped with spotting.
I was prepared for just about everything, the most to hold in being patient with my lines. Not all the lines left by the Green Monster Dodge were suitable for me. lol
So, not a scratch or ding to the outside. Only a partially squashed exhaust tip, a crunched evap can (no CEL), and the fuel tank rigid plastic skid protector cracked. Strap holding the skid bent on the inward side towards the driveshaft and just kisses it slightly just taking scale off.
Good bit of folks gave the double take on seeing not 1, but 2 fullsizes coming in.

Carl is the man! Everyone did a double take when they saw the Dodge. Here are some pics: http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n50 ... un%202012/

OfflineThe rock just behind the rig is what happened. That gentlemen's name was Doug and we was just playing around on the rock. Front tire went over fine. He then throttled as the rear tire went over the rock and he just tipped over.
He lost a lot of fluid and spill kits where needed. We cleaned the fluid up and extracted the contaminated dirt in Jeff's truck.
Um...what?

Yeah, what Greg said. 😀 The other part of what "helped" him over was the weight as he was quite loaded. Canoe didn't take a scratch though, nor the passengers.
One thing that really helped me get through the trail was very controlled throttle given that I'm running 35" tires and only 4.10 gearing. The engine mods added earlier this year (cam, intake manifold) made a very significant difference in handling. An automatic tranny with stock intake manifold in the dodge is very prone to lurching no matter how well you feather that throttle. I changed mine out completely to a Mopar M1 = expected throttle response. So that front D44 (with extra flanging) didn't kiss anything but with a light tap. 😀
