I'd never find another one this cheap. I'll get it fixed and move on, no big deal.

Sucks John. Total CRAP!

First, your paint won't match in 3 years, even assuming they can get the grain correct on your repair. Next, Nearly every bodyshop now reports to Carfax meaning your truck will show damage in a report run by either a prospective buyer OR a dealer taking the truck in from you with a later trade in! Either way, your value suffers additionally because of this fender bender. Take LOTS of pics as you attempt to argue against losing value in the future if/when you move on from the truck.

I'd be pretty PO'd. :censor:

Ya, I was pretty P.O.ed at first, but life goes on. I could think of a lot worse thing that could happen, so I'll count my blessings. Just another reason to KEEP this truck forever mr-green

Good thing you got a diesel! Forever is a LONG time! Well, it better be!

You are correct that it's just a car - though it hurts more when you're still paying on it (or are about to start paying on it).

Guess what I got for a rental? That's right, a Titan.
So I guess I can now do a comparison for that truck too.
The engine is strong, the transmission is smooth, and the exhaust sounds really cool. The best thing about it is the ride quality, it's very sporty and fun to drive. However, the interior is horrible! Everything seems cheap and it rattyles with only 2,000 miles on it. The seats are soooooo small and uncomfortable, my kids barely fit in them. The instruments are in odd places and hard to see. They really need to re-design that interior space. Then, they might have a pretty good little truck.
