Ok I picked up my jeep it has passed smog. I fixed the rear main seal no more leak. I also fixed the slow fill problem and replace the beat up gas tank skid. I chased down surface rust and repainted the fenders and sliders. Now I'm waiting for the shocks and a few other small item on order. More to follow...

So the little white jeep has had some work over the course of the quarantine. The above mentioned work and I replaced the gas tank skid and fixed the back/slow fill problem with the gas tank. Chased down rust and repainted the fenders and rocker guards. Fixed the lower control arm mount on the front axle and installed the heavy duty lower control arms. Lastly I'm replacing the shocks with Fox shocks performance series shocks. the rears are in but I'm still waiting for front set.

So my Atlas transfer case came in last week. A friend of a friend who is also named Jeff who is a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep mechanic installed it for me (I was tried to stay out of his way as best I could). Jeff has a really nice shop at his home. All that's left to do is have the driveshafts modified and it should be ready to go. I also put some new Rubicon Express springs in the front and rear. John D gave me gave me the springs that he bought for his TJ but never used. Thanks John, my springs were getting tired! My Jeep has been sitting outside at Jeff's house for about three months so I included a few pics just to show Kris how dirty it is.

Very nice I can't wait to see it action again
With the Atlas you can do a front dig which means you put the rear in neutral and the front in low and then pull the e-brake and pivot around one of the rear tires. Gives you a very tight turn radius. My understanding is to use it sparingly because it puts a lot of stress on the front axle.

Yeah I was going to say..doing that maneuver might lead to your next upgrade..a new front axle! Lol.
