I wish you had gone first.
I came to the conclusion I had to do something. I've been driving the Jeep to work the past couple days and the impromptu partial lane changes are getting old. I just hope the dual Johnny Joints don't end up being a mistake. I couldn't find anything saying the Johnny Joints were harder on mounts than rubber bushings. I read a lot of what Blaine's written on the subject over the last several years, and it seems to make sense that Johnny Joints are easier on the mounts. Seems counter-intuitive but that's what I got out of everything.

Yeah, he can be that way sometimes, but much of the time the receiving party deserves it too. I was having a problem installing my Vanco Big Brake kit initially and Van got him on a conference call. Blaine basically said do this, measure that, call Van and tell him the measurement and they'll get the customized part out to me, no charge. And that's exactly how it happened. I have no complaints.

Not true in person...he is just abrasive to everybody...ask Larry 🙄
I haven't met him in person so . . .
Sounds like his real life persona is just like his online persona.
Let me rephrase that . . . (Sorry, couldn't help pulling another well known character into the discussion. )

My Rokmen rear Johnny joint control arms showed up today. They look pretty good and seem much heavier than the RE control arms. One thing I'm not too sure of is the axle-end Johnny joint gets greased through a greasable bolt. The zerk is on top of the head of the bolt. It just seems like the zerk will be kind of vulnerable to the rocks. The other downside I wasn't aware of I have to drill out the axle side upper control arm bolt holes to 7/16 to fit the greaseable bolts, which kind of locks me in to using the Johnny Joints.

My first impression is they seem to be well made. FedEx dropped them off this morning and I had to get to work so I didn't have much time to check them out though. The joints look good and the tubing is very thick. The box of two lower arms and two upper arms was much heavier than expected, certainly heavier than the RE arms.
My only (minor) complaint was they didn't send an order confirmation other than the paypal receipt and I didn't get a tracking number. When I asked for one Jeff @ Rokmen quickly sent the number. The other downside is that I wasn't aware that a signature was required, so I missed the first delivery attempt - not a big deal, but I was disappointed to see the notice on the door.
