What's the part number of the trackbar with the larger holes?
Mine's an RE1612 (I think that's the number they gave it). It was a pretty new part at the time I got it. It requires drilling the hole bigger at the axle end and drilling the hole in the RE1611 bracket larger. It's also made with thicker wall tubing than the original RE1610. RE may have merged the 1610 and 1612 part numbers into a single item though.
Brad might know more since he bought one of these trackbars at the same time I did.
Edit) I just read the specs on the RE1610 in their catalog. It does appear the 1610 and 1612 products were merged into a single product. It catalog says the 1610 includes 1/2" hardware which is larger than the original metric bolts used for the trackbar.

Sounds like you had the old style 1610 on your Jeep and got the new 1610. You could keep the old one as a spare, just keep the bolts too. You could always put the smaller bolts in the bigger holes. It's not ideal, but should get you off the trail. Another idea might be to drill out the smaller holes in the old trackbar to fit the bigger bolts. I'm not sure if there's enough material in the trackbar ends to do that though.

ooohh, that's a good idea. Thanks guys. If I run strawberry I will need all the spare parts I can carry! 😯
Funny reference. I recall a white jeep ripping off a track bar joint on strawberry...
