I have a tapered reamer and the drill bit for sleeving. However, you need to use tape to determine how far down you'd like the taper to drill. I suggest, drill a little and test fit, then drill a little more and again test fit.

Is it the correct degree for the 1 tons or just a random one that has worked in the past? Didn't you do Johns new jeep?

We over-reamed mine, so we had to drill and use the bung.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Have you tried test fitting yet? According to the Reid response in this post JKs have the same 1-in-8 taper as 1-tons. It still might need to be reamed deeper but worth a try. I did not have to ream my knuckles but mine are a little different.

Ya I was planning on just trying first but I wanted to have the tool to do it if it didn't fit properly
