Worst part was it took me 5 minutes to get out of my seat belt. 245 pounds hanging upside down, the latch wouldn't release. Big thud once it let go lol all good though!! Once we got it back upright, I had to refill my power steering fluid and the tranny fluid. It all dumped out while I was upside down. That is why it's important to carry extra fluids!

Glad your ok Rob. Were you on the main trail when you tipped over or on a side run exploring? Just curious as I have not done this trail.

That is the main trail, no way around that spot.

That was at which hill .5, only damage was a small dent on the driver side "A" pillar and a dent on the hood.

This will be the last summer I will run the jeep this way. After summer is over I'm either selling it for a full tube buggy or I'm cutting it up and stretching it to 110 inches, LQ4 v8, etc, etc!

If I cut it up and rebuild it, I will be selling a bunch of parts of it, rear CRD 60, hydro boost brakes, complete steering system (steering box, pump, and hydrolic ram), engine, tranny, complete kit to convert a front Dana 60 to 5 on 5.5, and five ORF 5 on 5.5 bead locks. There will be a bunch more, but these will be the big ticket items.

Absolutely correct on that one!!!! Never leave your fluids on the ground to destroy the environment!!

You flopped on WH5? How did that happen?

Do you think the pump/box/ram will fit a JK? I'll need to do research before committing but that is second in line on my upgrade list.

.5 vs 5...

Assuming the .5 isn't a type-o. Still not sure where that is though. 😀

Not winch hill 5. It is WH ".5" a new WH between the first water crossing and WH1. I am leaning toward selling and getting a full buggy.

If you go the buggy route, Trent fab in Nevada makes some sick stuff. They have a turnkey monster for about 60k all you have to do is disassemble powder coat and paint and reassemble. If you want a done drive it off the lot buggy those are around 75-90k. Or you can star with a frame for 3-4k.

You'd probably do better with that route. Where's ".5"? is it after the spot I seem to always have problems with, or is closer to WH1?

It is after the spot you usually get stuck. It is where the trail was rerouted two years ago to bypass the mud hole about 3/4 of a mile before WH 1. The spot is getting really nasty! if you don't pick the right line, you will either end up on your side of the roof like me.
