Does anyone know if the TJ Rubicon rear Dana 44 axle requires the friction modifier in the gear lube? I know they've got the limit slip / locker but my FSM doesn't cover Rubicon models.

It doesn't tale the modifier because there are no clutches.

Is this because the TJ Rubicon has a Locker and not an LSD? I recall the TJ LSD required the additive...

TJ Rubicons have a locker/limited slip. The regular TJ limited slip does have clutches and requires the friction modifier.
