Alas, the wheeling season is over. What was your favorite run this year?
My favorite run this year was the Fordicon. Fordyce and Rubicon in one day was a good challenge, but it beats the crap out of you. It was also frustrating to get held up so many times on the Rubicon by slow and badly prepared groups. But still, it was fun doing something that few people have done before.
My second favorite run was the club Fordyce run to the water crossing. It was great to see such a good club turnout for a single run. It was a fun trip that offered just enough challenge to keep everybody entertained and got some guys to test out their new rigs ar take on a challenge they haven't attempted yet. I forgot how fun it can be to have a big turnout.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

In my case that's about true. 🙁 Actually I think my favorite run this year was the Bowman snow run. The snow runs where you're breaking trail in the back country are cool in my book. I think the only other club run I made it on was the trail cleanup.

Well, it was a slow season, especially for club runs. I think I was on the Rubicon 5 times, Fordyce [about] 8 times, and Strawberry 1 time. That's a very slow year, but it makes me appreciate the trips more. Life is getting so busy with kids' events, trainings for work, and generally having less money to throw at extacurricular activities. I only went fishing about 10 times this year too, which is very, very sad. But it does not matter because every one of those trips were fun, no breakage, and I only got skunked two days of fishing. So, I'd call it a great season even if it was a little slow. Looking forward to the next year and a stronger economy 8)
