if your looking for a budget winch winch depot is selling them for $269. with a free cover.its the xrc8, and its the upgraded series wound ,not the perm magnet one that is in the ad. it like mine so far. i just wanted to pass the deal on to you guy's

Offline I haven't heard anything negative so far as reliability. The only comment I'd have from experience is that they tend to be slower when recovering under load, than a more expensive unit. They still work just fine.

It would impress all the kids at the mall. 😀 For some reason I see you using it to pull out stumps more than for getting unstuck wheeling.
