I just finished eliminating the BIG (almost scary) dead spot in my steering with a new (re-manufactured) steering gear from PSC and new hoses. Took the Jeep out for a test drive, did some swerves and circles, and steering felt great. Then as I was driving back home it started pulling right. When I got home my passenger side front brakes were smoking. I haven't had a chance to really dig in yet but wanted to get others' opinions.
I'm thinking stuck caliper?
Nothing like fixing one thing and then having something else go wrong on your test drive.

i just had the same thing happen to mine today. it was one of those days. i left my house headed for collins lake and on the highway the boat and trailer seperated from the jeep 😯 thank god for safety chains. after a day of fishing while driving home i hit the brakes and the jeep veered into the left lane. the right caliper froze up and vaporized the brake fluid . with no right front and a working left its hard to hold on the steering wheel. i was right in front of the jeep dealer in auburn so i pulled in and talked to the parts guy. over $200 for parts! it seems they only would sell me a complete front set with loaded calipers. i limped into kragen down the street. $19 for the caliper and $2 for the brake fluid. my left one froze up a few months back. i think it was from pismo ,i had to go a little ways throw the waves to get off the beach. it was only a matter of time after that ., i still cant believe it when i go down there and i see guys driving thru the water and it spraying other there windshields. it gets salt all the way thru the frame and all the brakes.
