I got it torn apart and there is a little play at the yoke on the transfer case. It's only about a 1/16 to 1/8 back and forth. And 1/16 of an inch up and down, is that bad. The seals are shot I know that is bad.

I think Kevin had a stak...That's not much play, but it may be a sign of bad bearings. I'd call them and see what they say.

Yep, had one in my YJ. Not sure if it's bad or not. I think Trail Worthy Fab was making heavy duty replacement parts for the Stak. I believe they bought the design and redesigned the internals for their new Hero transfer cases (don't quote me on that 🙂 ). They look pretty stout!

I found bad shims and nut was tightened all the way done. I just need seals and o-rings. I think I lucked out. It is very stout, they call it the small monster truck transfer case I think.
