I am going to tear apart my steering today. I want to fix that death wobble once and for all. Here's what I'm doing.
Remove the panhard bar.
Replace the hiem on the axle end.
Re-drill the bracket to 3/4" hole.
Re-install the panhard bar.
Remove drag link.
Replace the TRE at the pitman arm.
Re-install the drag link.
Remove the tie rod.
Throw it in the garbage.
Re-install a new tie rod with new TREs.
Then I'll get the front end alignment.

After the Barrett run, I am going to finish servicing the joints and bushings in my rear upper and lower control arms. I have all the parts sitting in my garage but I've been putting it off for way too long. I'm tired of the control arms screaming and clunking.
Rob and I are going to take a welding class on Tuesday nights. After I get decent at it, I'm going to oreder a grill hoop and weld that on my Jeep.
I'm also going to replace my seats with some suspension seats. I'll tie the seats into my cage with some tubing. I want my seats to be a couple of inches lower than stock to get my head further away from my cage. I'll also add a harness bar and get some harnesses. I'll mostly use the lap belt but I thought it would be nice to have a full harness for some of those nasty climbs.
And finally, I'm going to send a set of wheels I have sitting around to Champion to have them beadlocked. With shipping and all, they come out to less than $200/each. The wheels I have right now are so beat up (inside and out) that they are popping beads and burping air way too often. Plus, beadlocks are cool like Rob and Brad
That's my list of things to do. Some day I'll do the Genright tank stretch in the rear and stretch my front to get my wheelbase up to about 105 inches and still be semi-street legal.

Me too. I've got several AIX servers to build and configure by the end of the week. No Jeep work for me.
Maybe I'll get Don over here Friday night or Saturday so I can reinstall his straightened out engine skid plate. He beat the crud out of that thing on Rubicon Round-Up. It was so bent that it was resting on the tranny oil pan which dented and started leaking. If he hadn't had that skid plate he surely would have had transmission trouble.

I won't be accomplishing anything on Keane's 4-Runner either, or either of my jeeps.
Let me know if that fixes everything.
I too won't be accomplishing anything on Keane's 4-Runner either, or either of Brad's jeeps.
I might do some wiring tonight after the kids are in bed.

I bring the :censor: when it comes to mechanix. I've been under my Jeep for two hours and have accomplished NOTHING. Somebody must be playing a trick on me because I think they welded my TREs in place. I'm probably going to have to have a new tie rod made because I don't think my old one will stand up to the abuse I give it. My track bar mount hole is elongated and I'm not sure if there is enough room to drill it out to a bigger size. So, I ended up putting the whole thing back together and will have to wait for a real mechanic or take it to a fabricator to fix it all. I suck

Did you try a pickle fork and a BFH?
It's threaded, how's a pickle fork going to help?
