Last sunday I had a work party at my house in folsom. I finally got a shiny brand new TeraLow 4:1 kit for my transfer case and it was time to install it. Fred showed up around 9:30 and we got to work. Every time I got worried that we didnt have the right tool, Fred excused himself, went to his Jeep, and returned with the perfect tool. With his coaching we were done by 3:30. This is with a good pizza lunch brake. The kit went in great. Installation is easy with the right tools and with an exta set of hands. The Low range is amazing. I almost squeeled the tires in the driveway the first time I let the clutch out.
The only issue was I installed the spedo gear facing the wrong way. This made the spedo read zero. The check engine light also came on. I was able to fix the spedo (Thanks to the pics that were taken) but the light is still on. How do I get rid of the light?
Thanks again Fred for all your help!

I've got a code reader and can turn off the light. We can do it Saturday during the road patrol.

I will be there on Sat. to try the engine light dance / code reader. I hope it works. That light makes me nervous.

Consider disconnecting the battery overnight, reconnect it and see what happens. My light was on a year. I paid a shop $200 to fix it, and they said nothing was wrong. I cleared the computer overnight and haven't had the light on since. It's a free test. The best kind of test!
