There was plenty. It is only temporary until after the Hammers and then I will put tube fenders back there.

The stretch is going good, I was over there today. All the old brackets are cut off and he is moving the spring buckets back tmorrow and building the new arms. We measured the wheel base where axle will sit when done and I am just over 101 inches 😀

My new roll cage comes in tomorrow, so John and I will be installing it this weekend, changing out my front axle U-joints, putting all new tie rod and drag link ends on, installing my stage 8 kit, etc....

I'll be there to help. We can also change the joints in my rear/uppers.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

I went with the Rock Hard cage after talking with several shops who all said it's as good as a weld in cage if not better....It isn't a cheap either 😯

My Jeep is done. I will pick it up Sat. when I get back into town. He decided not to notch the frame. He moved the buckets back and it only raised the rear an inch. I have to drive it home in front wheel drive. Apparently my drive shaft doesn't connect anymore. The front half and the rear half of the shaft are about 4 inches from connecting.

Your Jeep looks good Rob. I really liked how the rear buckets turned out.

Thank you John and Rob for helping me beat and drill on my Jeep today. I have to pull the soft top back one more time for the spreader bars and might need some help getting it back on. lol

Here are the photos of the work.

This is how the buckets were moved back.

The red line shows where the back of the tire used to be.

That looks really good! Much better than the notch, I couldn't stand that notch on mine when I had it. Do you have any more pics of your rear shock mount from different angles? It looks a couple pieces of 1" or so 1/4" plate and a tube welded in the middle as a mounting sleeve, is that what it is? Nice welds too!

Out in the garage collecting parts....

Very simple shock mount, Brad had his done after I got mine. A guy I know up in Foresthill made them. Here is a link with some more photos..

Here are the flex pictures. I wanted to make sure everything worked before the Hammers. This is with the Jeep all bump stopped correctly.

Almost full flex.

Full stuff in the rear with 4 1/2 inch springs. Plenty of room

Full flex in the rear..Plenty of flex I would say!!!
