I'm very happy with the fit. I will need to move my front axle forward a couple of inches, but other than that I shouldn't have any issues. The tires measure 37.5" installed.

Offline John's Jeep looks great with the new tires 8) 8) Doesn't look much wider than before since he went with a 4.5 inch back spacing. We will need to move the front axle forward about 1 1/2 to 2 inches and trim just a little off the rear fenders. It wont take anywhere near as much work as I thought it would......

Rob, can you post some photos of the front end work you do? I'd like it for reference when I need to move mine forward. Is it as simple as extending the lower control arms?

Offline The only reason I can stretch my front end a bit is because I have room. My drag link sweeps back a couple of inches. I can push the axle out until the drag link is parallel with the axle.
I will also be trimming the rear wheel openings to allow more room to stuff. I might put some bump stops in the rear since I don't currently run any. If I need more room than that, I can high-line the fenders. All doable and cheap. I will probably line the tub if I can get the stuff from Keane.
Now the hard part is trying to decide what color to paint the Jeep?

I also primered the heavy scratches. Now I'm going over it with some matching paint. Then I'll paint the tubes and wheel wells black. My Jeep will look presentable once again...

Can it wait till a meeting? I'd like to make August, but that's right around when #2 is due. If you need it sooner let me know. You're on the 80 side so it's close. It does seem a bit odd to have to drive over to the other side of Sacramento to exchange stuff. 😀

Offline I don't plan to line the tub and paint the Jeep until after the Fall wheeling season is over. I'll be prepping it and doing those things during the Winter in my garage...getting ready for the Hammers.
