The radiator in my 04 TJ took a dump yesterday. The leak appears to be coming from the lower seam from what I can tell from a quick visual inspection. This will be the second replacement radiator that I will be putting in this vehicle. Should I just go with typical factory replacement radiator and change out the two hoses or should I consider anything different? The average life of these radiators is about six years or 35,000 miles each. Should I be looking at an upgraded radiator?

I went with a Mishimoto radiator that has a lifetime warranty. It's an all aluminum radiator. The jury is still out on this one. There are mixed reviews on the JK version. I have the updated version for my application so we will see how long it lasts.
I have used and currently run Mishimoto parts. They build some sound components. Good Brand in my opinion. I'm currently running their Transmission Cooler in my JK.

I needed the Jeep on the weekend to load the tree trunk on the trailer for Kris so I ran to Reibes Auto Parts and just got one there. It has a lifetime warranty so we shall see. The last one only lasted four years but I could not find the receipt or figure out where I bought it but I think I ordered it online.

That's great to hear. They seem decent and I have heard great things. The JK is the only place I hear there might be issues.
Um...what?
