When the sale of my current rear bumper is complete I'll need to find a new bumper. I expect I'll end up getting another Jeeperman bumper but without the swingout tire carrier. It's been a great bumper and has provisions to be mounted higher if the Jeep has a body lift. But I figure I've got time to explore my options.
I like the looks of the Hanson rear bumper (without the swingout) but wonder how it would look with a body lift. Does anyone have the Hanson bumper and a body lift and could post a picture from the back? I guess even a picture without a body lift would be helpful. If you've got the tire carrier please open it so I can see the bumper and body.
Any other suggestions?

You have a body lift on your TJ? I didn't think you liked body lifts.
I've never had a problem with small body lifts. I've had one on my TJ since it was 6 months old.

As you can see, the gap for the body lift is hardly noticeable.

So I've had a Hanson rear bumper on order with 4 Wheel Parts since late June. I've called a couple times to check on the status and was told Hanson was dragging their feet on building it. I called today and was told 4 Wheel Parts has dropped Hanson as a vendor and had to cancel my order. So I'm back in the market again.
I could order through Hanson directly for about $525. I like the looks of the Poison Spider TJ bumper too, but it ends up at the $500 mark too. I ran across JCR Offroad and like the looks of their bumper and it's half the price.

Does anyone have any experience with JCR Offroad or heard anything good or bad?

On a related note...I got my shrockworks rear bumper last week. The thing is super stout and weights a ton but the quality looks good. The lift should be along reasonably shortly...then it's time for a work party!
Did I hear work party? those are great. I am in debt to half the club and will be at any ones beck and call at a moments notice. I couldn't have done it with out them. We are blessed to be in a group with such great people.

It showed up last night. It looks pretty good but needs to be painted, which I knew about. I'm sure it's not as strong overall as the Jeeperman bumper I took off but should be fine. My goal is to get it painted and installed this weekend then I'll post some pictures.
