So im getting a terrible vibration from my Jeep. I think its either the driveshaft(s), blown tranny mount, (need new shocks), or something t-case related?
Ive checked
-Alignment is perfect
-tires are balanced
-u-joints are fine
It happens when im going over 45 and when i let off the gas it tends to die down a bit. My t-case shifter and tranny shifter dont shake (which i would imagine they would). Gas pedal and steering wheel vibrate. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Im gonna pull the front DS tomorrow and see if thats the problem. Pinion angle is pretty much dead on f/r.

Possible issues:
Bad trackbar bushing/loose trackbar bolts
Bent/out of balance front DL
Bad front DL u-joints
Bad rear DL u-joints
Bent/out of balance rear DL
Bent rear output shaft
You also could have lost the weights on one of your front wheels.
I've had a broken motor mount before and it didn't cause what you describe. I'm not sure about a broken tranny/t-case mount however.
IMO the most likely problem is either a u-joint or something with your front trackbar. You should be able to see if you dented the front DL.
Let us know what you find.

JKS, Teraflex and RE all make good aftermarket trackbar upgrades. Other brands do as well. It's nice have an adjustable model so you can center your axle each time you change your ride height.

I think its home has been found! I could really use a new tracbar. Does it come with bushings or heims? Is there a bracket as well?

I'm pretty sure this is the one I've got, but I'll double check tonight (it could be the OGS126) - http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddetail ... JKS-OGS125 It's got a factory style bushing on the axle end and Johnny Joint style joint on the frame end. No brackets are included. The hole in the frame end mount does need to be drilled out.
It was recommended when I downsized from the RE 4.5" springs to RE 3.5" but I found I was able to reuse my existing RE trackbar.

I hope I didn't mislead you to think I was giving away the trackbar. I'll pm you a price I think you'll find fair. Let me know if you still want it.
The trackbar is the OGS125 I linked above. Here's a picture to show you it's still new and unused.

Check the rear diff. fluid and pinion nut? With new gears and bearings in that 8.8 it may have killed the oil as they all tend to run a little hot during break-in. Track-bar is most likely suspect.
how do you multi quote on this forum? Hahaha they are gonna wonder why im walking out with soo much stuff Ive replaced the oil twice now. Ill do it again though, that sucker takes up a lot of gear oil!

a little.. just a little. It has to be a driveline issue. Im gonna find time next week to pull my front shaft and see if thats the problem. Im hoping its just out of balance.
If you pull the front DL, why not replace the u-joints at the same time. Its easy and cheap.

Conner, didn't you just put a lift on that rig when you first purchased? Did you verify the DL angles ... especially the rear? It sounds EXACTLY like a DL loading and unloading by your description (ask me how I know).

Would you mind telling what DL show you would be referring to? Might be an option I need to consider in the next couple days as I tackle myself.
