I got my PS pump taken care of. This one should work better. But, I forgot that I also need to take care of my tie rod ends.

I need to:

Mount winch and winch plate
replace battery with an Optima
Check out stereo wiring, speakers go out when I hit a bump
Longer front brake lines
replace rear pinion seal
replace rear shocks
front spring coil pads of some sort on the bottom to keep them from scratching against the axle (nasty noise)
Fix exhaust leak
mount up spare tire
Weld up the rest of my beadlocks, switch tires over....
install tube bumpers
grease joints
get doors painted

That list just keeps getting longer.... lol

Out in the garage collecting parts....

I just have to get an alignment so I can see what my caster is and install some bumpstops and I will be ready to go.

I just have to first finish the remodel on the guest bathroom
Wash and wax trailer, adjust brakes, detail the inside and so some painting on the outside.
Go on a week vacation.
Go out of town to a family renunion the next week.
Start shopping for a new commuter car and get the Expedition ready for sale.
Go on another week long camping trip.
Wife goes back to work after summer break and my free time goes back to zero.

I should have some free time around October to work on the 4runner again 🙄

I got the tires cleaned and balanced. That made a big difference but I could still get Death Wobble when I hit pot holes or rail road tracks. Today I switched out my track bar for a better one. Now...NO DEATH WOBBLE 😀

Now I need to (1).switch springs in the front and (2).finish my rear control arms.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Don't you currently have 15" rims? Will you go with 15" beadlocks, or move up to 17's once you wear these tires out?

I want to move up to 17's if I have bead locks.

Just got back from my shakedown run at Prairie City and need to add a couple things to my to do list.

- figure out why front ARB isn't working 😥

- lengthen front swaybar links

- replace Full Traction rear swaybar with factory rear swaybar (now where did I put that?)

That's pretty much what I know right now. I haven't had much time to check it out. I suspect an electrical problem.

Sorry embarassed I was even there from about 11:30 - 1:00. I could have used a hand too. With my dysfunctional locker I managed to get myself stuck and had a stranger, in a Toyota no less, strap me.

To do list

Stretch the front of my Jeep 5 inches
40 inch tires
Cut the back half of the body out and tube it
Ram assist for the steering

That should do it for now.

That sounds cool. See if you can find us a two for one deal. Of course I'll need to stretch the rear too and get a fuel cell in the back. I'll just run mud flaps on the road.

Maybe I'll skip stretching the front. I could just stretch the rear about 8 inches if I comp cut it.

I think it would take more than a sawzall to cut through my Poison Spyder Crusher Corners 😈

I've got $5 that says you're wrong. Only one way to find out. 😀

I don't want the cut to look like crap. I need a plasma cutter or trade for some comp cut corners. Of course I could use the Sawzall and if it turns out badly I could cut it all off and tube the rear 8)

I used to wheel a lot. . .

You guys might as well give me a lifetime membership to the Pink Bone award. I figured out why the ARB wasn't working. Before I tell you what was wrong let me give a bit of background.

I put this ARB equipped axle in about a year ago and have been "using" the ARB when needed and was satisfied with its performance. When I did the wiring and plumbing for the ARB I went ahead and installed switches and solenoids for both front and rear ARB's even thought I still have the Detroit locker in the rear.

Well . . . embarassed . . . my front ARB never could have been working because I had the switch for the rear ARB hooked up to the solenoid for the front ARB. I always wondered why I never heard the air purging from the line when I turned off the locker. 🙄
