I've installed Tera's 4 to 1 low this last weekend and came up with vibes in the drive train at 40 to 50 mph. I followed Tera's instructions along with Stu Olson's web site. everything went great, proper torque, oil, drove it in low about 8mi (dirt road). Feels like a drive line. The rear is a Tom Wood's with about 20,000 miles on it and the front is stock with 69,000 miles on it. If it's not the trans case could it be front driveline even in 2wd? Any thoughts before I throw $ at it? Thanks for any input.

OfflineTake off the front and drive around again.
If that's not it, take off the rear and check each u-joint for play.
If that's not it, leave both off, put it in 4wd and check the output shafts to see if either is bent.
One of those will probably be your problem.
good luck and report back!

I've ran it without the front driveline, still a vibe at 40 to 50 mph. I've removed the rear and it seems fine, better than the nongreaseable front. I've turned the transfer case by hand and ran it through the motor at at varying speeds in 4whl and 2whl. I could not tell if anything was bent. Noisy though but Tera's instuctions noted that it would be noisier until it was broke in. Before removing the rear shaft I checked the pinion angle while I was there, about 4 deg's off. That worked fine before I started the transfer case work. I had it set better than that when I first installed the lift but wear and tear I'll reset and run again.

➡ Well onto the engine skid and currie steering.
